We love Christmas time. It was also special as it was Preston’s first Christmas and out first Christmas in our house. We didn’t get out as much as we usually do because of Preston, but we still had fun, and Lucy loved watching a lot of Christmas movies. We also loved doing the 25 days of Christ again, it was nice to at least have one thing everyday that reminded us of the reason for the season.
My family all came up for Christmas Eve dinner. We always do Christmas crackers, and the grandkids looked so cute in their matching jammies.
Every night leading up to Christmas we opened another book to read. Here is our last one on Christmas Eve.
Here are Lucy and Preston all ready to go to church in their Christmas clothes. They are just so adorable.
Lucy really liked opening presents this year and kept asking if there was more. She has really liked the farm, we got for her and Preston. She likes anything she can pretend with. We had a yummy breakfast in the morning. Lucy woke up at 5:30 and wouldn’t go back to sleep, so luckily she took a nap and then we went down to the Fernsten’s for Christmas dinner. She had so much fun playing with her cousins and we also loved being with family.
Kenny took the week off between Christmas and New Years so we had a lot of fun with him. Lucy loved going sledding and playing in the snow. We also took her bowling for the first time. She really liked it and even beat me. She liked dancing while she was waiting for her ball to hit the pins. Kenny also did a lot around the house including building shelves in our family room closet for all our toys, it’s been so nice!
