Since Lucy’s birthday was on a Friday she was lucky and got to have a whole birthday weekend to celebrate! She definitely loved being the birthday girl! She kept singing, “Happy day to me!”
We started out the morning by giving Lucy her first present. It is a set of Little People Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She has a couple of princesses so she was super excited to have some more. And Lucy loves Snow White!
Then Lucy helped me make cupcakes, and by help I mean that I frosted a cupcake and she ate all the frosting off. She loves “helping”me in the kitchen.
We had Lucy’s friends over for a play date and cupcakes.
She did so good at blowing out her candles!
These kids are so funny, and loved making a mess eating their cupcakes.
Kenny got off work early and we gave Lucy her big present, her own kitchen! She has been having a blast playing with it. She likes to make soup, cake, and cookies.
Then we went to Cornbelly’s and had so much fun. We hadn’t been for a few years, and they have definitely added a lot of fun things!
Lucy loved the bouncy houses. They also had a big princess area and we found Lucy a Snow White dress. She had a lot of fun playing in a little pumpkin house with “Cinderella”.
There were definitely a lot of fun things to do, hay mazes, train rides, slides, and balls!
Grandma and Jarik and Stephanie met up with us for dinner and then came back with us. Lucy was so excited to have them here. She had a lot of fun playing in the giant corn pit. The weather was amazing, it was in the 80s when we were there during the day, and at night we only needed a light jacket. And the night ended with fireworks, so perfect!
On Saturday we went up Millcreek Canyon to see the fall leaves, unfortunately most of the trees were bare already, but we still found some pretty leaves. And it wasn’t cold which was also nice.
Lucy also really liked collecting rocks, of course!
First attempt at a picture with daddy didn’t work so well, but the second one turned out pretty cute!
Another cute picture of Lucy playing with her kitchen in her Snow White dress that Grandma Mudrow made her. She is definitely our little princess.
On Sunday we had cake and ice cream with the family, complete with Pooh party hats! Megan made this super cute Winnie the Pooh cake, which Lucy loved! It was so yummy too!
Lucy had so much fun running around with her cousins and opening presents.
Lucy ate her whole cake of course, she loves chocolate!
I’m two! Having fun reading a princess book with grandpa. We’re so glad that she’s finally two, she’s been telling people that for about 6 months. It was definitely a fun filled weekend!
