We had a really fun Labor Day weekend. We spent the weekend in Park City with the Pratt’s and Kevin and Megan. We did a lot of fun things, but the best part was just getting to be together as a family. Lucy loved playing with her cousins, and the adults loved playing games once the kids had all gone to bed. Thanks again Cammie and Steve for organizing it!
There was a free gondola that went down to a parking lot and back. We rode it quite a few times. When we rode it at night, Lucy thought she was on the Peter Pan ride.
Playing in a big sandbox and getting dirty. Lucy also found a nice dog to pet. She is not afraid of dogs at all, she’ll just go up and start petting them.
Lucy loves their cousins, they are a cute bunch of kids! She really likes following Trevor around. The first thing they both did when we got to the hotel was climb into all the beds and mess up the sheets.
There was a mountain bike race the days we were there. We asked Lucy which number she wanted and she picked number 3, which worked out nice as Logan and Trevor both wanted #1.
She found a little seat in the hotel just her size! Perfect place to drink her milk before bed.
Just taking a little rest watching the kids play on the big hill. Lucy thought these chairs were slides.
The food at the restaurant took a really long time, so Lucy occupied herself by playing with the sugar packets. We go to restaurants so we don’t have to clean up after her, right?
Labor day afternoon we went down to Spanish Fork for a party with Rhett and Loralee’s friends from BYU Young Ambassadors. Lucy really liked when they played music, and of course hanging out with Papa! Oh and she really liked the punch.
They had a giant slip and slide down a big hill. I was brave enough to do it only once, but Kenny did it quite a few times.
Lucy barely got sprayed with water and then said she was cold, so we wrapped her up in her towel, and she was good after that.
It was a very fun weekend, and had so much packed in it felt like we’d taken a week vacation. Too bad we can’t be on vacation all the time!
